If you’re over 45 and have noticed changes in your reading vision, RLE might be the vision correction procedure for you. RLE uses Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) to correct vision just as with cataract surgery, just without the need to have a cloudy eye lens. RLE will actually eliminate your need to have cataract surgery in the future. We recommend patients take about a week to recover from RLE.

Monofocal IOLs
These are the most common lenses and usually focus at one distance, most often for clear distance vision. Many patients still need reading glasses for up-close tasks.
Toric IOLs

Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) IOLs
EDOF lenses help you see clearly at a range of distances – even intermediate tasks like computer work – while reducing glare and halos.
Multifocal / Trifocal IOLs
These advanced lenses give you vision at near, intermediate, and far distances. They are a good choice for patients who want to reduce their reliance on glasses for most daily activities.
Light Adjustable Lens
